Class Descriptions

General

General Yoga classes are not stage specific.  Prenatal & early Postpartum clients recommended to take stage specific classes below.

This Hatha flow class will get you moving!  If you like Chaturangas this is the class for you 😊 .  All levels welcome. 

A Hatha class designed to challenge all our seasoned mamas or experienced yogis.  This traditional style class will move through a variety of poses building on your strength and stamina.

A calming class to  release toxins and better reproductive and menstrual health.  

Planning to start a family? 

Yoga has been shown to help with balancing hormones, improving circulation, opening the hip and pelvic area as well as reducing stress.  Learn how the calming techniques used in yoga can help support your path to pregnancy.

Combine ballet-inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.  

Prenatal

Stretch and support your growing body with prenatal yoga.  This class will practice breathing techniques, birth intention and movements to help with labour and birth.  Some yoga experience recommended.

Each week builds on the next, learning about how to use meditation, pelvic floor exercises, pranayama (breathing) and poses to that will help through pregnancy, labour and delivery.   Intimate classes help to build a sense of community with other women. REGISTER HERE.

The perfect workshop for both partners to prepare physically and mentally for pregnancy and labour.  This hands-on event will leave you feeling connected as partners as well as parents to-be.  Learn and practice: yoga breathing for labour, set intentions for parenthood & partner meditation. REGISTER HERE.

Postnatal

Babies Welcome!  YogaMAMA classes give you the option to get moving with baby. 

Class focus is on the parent, allowing mom to focus on poses to support your changes through postpartum.  

Feel free to bring a blanket/toy for baby. 

A class for mom + baby, but also prenatal and postnatal appropriate. This yoga class provides mamas a safe workout combining elements of ballet and Pilates. Rebuild your strength while connecting with other mamas in your community. Stroller or baby wearing friendly. Series offered by Sarah from @mindsoulmoves

Kids & Family Program

The class focuses on mindfulness and movement.  Techniques taught include: learning about calming breathwork, body awareness and emotional regulation.  Techniques taught are not spiritual or religious.  

 

Classes offered by select age groups based on interest.  Don’t see your child’s age group?  Message us about a private Family class.

Private or Semi-private Family yoga sessions can be scheduled at your convenience.  A great way to reconnect and bond with the whole family.  Learn to use yoga movements, mindfulness and breathing techniques to foster a calmer home life.
