Class Descriptions


Prenatal Intro Workshop (4 hour)

Each week builds on the next, learning about how to use meditation, pelvic floor exercises, pranayama (breathing) and poses to that will help through pregnancy, labour and delivery.   Intimate classes help to build a sense of community with other women. REGISTER HERE.

Partner Yoga Workshop

The perfect workshop for both partners to prepare physically and mentally for pregnancy and labour.  This hands-on event will leave you feeling connected as partners as well as parents to-be.  Learn and practice: yoga breathing for labour, set intentions for parenthood & partner meditation. Balance & Boost (non-prenatal)

A class to help better overall women’s health.  A calming class to ease the mind, better circulation, release toxins and better reproductive and menstrual health.  

Planning to start a family or know someone who is? 
Yoga has been shown to help with balancing hormones, improving circulation, opening the hip and pelvic area as well as reducing stress. Learn how the calming techniques used in yoga can help support your path to pregnancy.  All this is covered in our Balance & Boost class.

Hatha L2 (non-prenatal)

A Hatha class designed to challenge all our returning mamas or seasoned yogis. This traditional style class will move through a variety of poses building on your strength and stamina.


Start using techniques from the Intro Program and build them into your yoga routine, labour and birth.  It is recommended that clients have some background in yoga or have completed our Intro Program.


Babies welcome!  YOgaMAMA classes give you the flexibility to get in shape with baby.  Classes focus on poses great for post-natal bodies while engaging and interacting with baby.   

Barre MAMA

A class for mom + baby, but also prenatal and postnatal appropriate. This yoga class provides mamas a safe workout combining elements of ballet and Pilates. Rebuild your strength while connecting with other mamas in your community. Stroller or baby wearing friendly. Series offered by Sarah from @mindsoulmoves

Classical Hatha Yoga training has provided Yoga Belly with the foundation of traditional Hatha Yoga techniques to help meet the needs of our clients.

Yoga Strength (4 weeks)

his 4 week (online) program is designed for mamas 6m +postpartum. Build strength, increase flexibility in a targeted powerful 45 mins. Each week’s sequence will build from the prior week. Intro to Yoga (4 weeks)

This Intro to Yoga course provides new students with a general introduction to Yoga and what to expect during a yoga class.  Students will also learn about basic poses, proper alignment to develop a safe practice, common yoga terminology, meditation and breathing techniques.  No experience is required.
